IOD Décor Ink Black is the darkest color in the IOD Decor Inks Collection. Like Mixing White, it can be used on its own. But often times, since the colors are vibrant, Black can be used to darken them. Like other Iron Orchid Designs Décor Inks, this décor ink from Iron Orchid Designs is a result of close collaboration between artists and ink specialists.

Iron Orchid Designs Décor Ink Black is specially made for fabric and home décors. But aside from fabrics and home décor, these inks are also perfect for use on walls and even furniture. With these inks, you can create unique, eye-catching pieces for your home; be it on fabric, furniture, walls, etc.! This ink is also perfect for flat and matte painted surfaces. These décor inks are rich in pigments and fade resistant, as well as, archival and acid free.

IOD Décor Ink Black, like the other inks in IOD Collection, is waterproof and designed to be permanent, especially on the recommended surfaces. Their drying time usually depends on the surface and conditions. Once fully dry, we recommend protecting your pieces with a surface-appropriate seạlėr.

Aside from Mixing White and Black, IOD Décor Inks come in other colors namely Stone Gray, China Blue, New Grass (Green), Oceans Deep (Blue) and Turmeric (Yellow). In addition, you can also get and IOD Mixing White. All of these inks are bright and saturated, so they are easy to desaturate and lighten up. You can add a drop of Black ink if you want a more muted color. 

Iron Orchid Designs Décor Ink Black is formulated for convenient use. Because they don’t require mixatives, it is relatively easy for users to create new colors. For example, if you desire a lighter shade of any of the colors available in IOD, you can just as easily add Mixing White, without using mixative.
