Global Colours Gel Medium is a structured medium that will increase the transparency and brilliance of Global Colours acrylics without altering the smooth impasto consistency.  It can be mixed in all proportions to increase the adhesion, gloss, transparency, and brilliance of all Global Colours Professional Artist Acrylics, without affecting consistency.

Gel Medium can be used direct into any prepared surface and then painted over when dry.  The medium dries to a smooth satin finish but can be mixed with water or any other Global Medium for a wide range of effects, while staying flexible.  Heavy glaze effects may be achieved by applying multiple layers.

An excellent binder for powdered pigments; sand, sawdust, etc., as well as being an ideal glue for attaching heavy objects to a hard surface.  When applied in combination with Professional Artist Acrylics by Global Colours a depth of colour comparable to that of oil paint can be achieved.

This product has adhesive properties, so be sure protective clothing is worn when mixing and applying.  Do not delay in cleaning all equipment in soap and water.

This medium is compatible with the range of Global Colours acrylics and other mediums, working together to create a highly versatile painting system for all artists.  Not formulated for use with other brands of acrylics or mediums.
