Homestead House Salad Bowl Finish Wax is made from beeswax and is food safe, making it a suitable for kitchen items such as wooden cutting boards, salad bowls, utensils, and butcher blocks, etc. You can even use this finish wax on children’s toys or just about any piece that you want to bring back to life. As a sealant, this food safe product can be used as sealant over milk painted surfaces and oiled furniture for extra protection and to resist distressing. This can also be used over milk painting to achieve a distressed, crackled and/or chippy look.
Fusion Homestead House Salad Bowl Finish Wax dries to a lovely satin finish and has a quick drying time. This salad bowl finish is quite easy to use and goes on like butter. Since it is made from natural, food safe ingredients, aside from offering a beautiful gleam, using it is quite comfy to use as it almost has no odour. What is even greater is that with just a small amount of this fine museum quality wax goes a long way! A 50-gram wax is enough to cover 11 sq meters of surface. This product also cleans up quickly with soap and warm water.
How To Apply:
- Use Hemp Oil on your project before applying the Salad Bowl Finish Wax for a rich, long lasting finish.
- Using a brush of your choice or a lint-free cotton cloth, apply ample amount of the wax to a surface.
- Let it dry for about 3-5 minutes.
- Apply a second coat if you want extra shine and durability.
Note: For heavily used items such as wooden cutting boards, you may have to apply this product every month or two. For low wear items, applying the Fusion Homestead House Salad Bowl Finish Wax 50gm every year or two may suffice.
